Anglesea SLSC Shines as Aussies 2025!

Read our results for all events up at Aussies 2025, from R&R, Beachies, Water, Adaptive and Pathways - it was a huge 10 days on the Gold Coast in April 2025.


Surf Sports Director Ivor Morgan shares his summery of the event:

What an incredible week of competition on the Gold Coast, with Team Anglesea showing grit, heart, and pure determination across every event. From beach flags to board races, R&R to relays, and boats to adaptive events — our athletes gave it their all and brought home outstanding results!


Highlights included:

🏅 Multiple gold medal performances in the Adaptive Events from Bonnie McCarroll and Jeremy Dalli

🌊 Strong finishes in the water events, with several top 10 places across ocean swims, Cameron relays, and surf races🏖 A huge beach presence, with medals across all age groups — Youth, Open, and Masters

🚨 Podium finishes in R&R, showcasing true teamwork and club spirit

💪 Powerful efforts in the boat arena, just missing the next round but with big things ahead

✨ And a special shoutout to Zoe Hume, the youngest competitor at the Aussies!

But perhaps most exciting of all — Anglesea SLSC finished 22nd in Australia and was the #1 club in Victoria. A phenomenal achievement and a true testament to our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and support crews.

Hard-fought efforts from the U19 & U23 Men’s Crews – narrowly missed Round 4. Both crews show huge potential with 2 more years in their respective grades.

2025 Pathway Interstate Championship


Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club’s Summer Morgan and Noah Chapple represented Victoria as Team Captains at the 2025 Pathways Interstate Championships, proudly showcasing the values of their state and club through their commitment and sportsmanship.


Summer put in a strong performance in the Female Ironperson, finishing 2nd overall—an impressive result ahead of competitors from New South Wales and Queensland. She also placed 8th in both the Surf Race and Board Race, rounding out a consistent showing across multiple events.


Noah competed strongly, finishing 7th in the Male Ironperson, 13th in the Surf Race, and teaming up with Summer in the Mixed Cameron Relay, where Victoria placed 5th.


Their results reflect both individual effort and team spirit, and as captains, they led with dedication and a positive attitude. Anglesea SLSC is proud of their contributions and the way they represented their club and state throughout the championships.
