2020 AGM postponed

As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions the Board have taken the decision to delay the 2019-2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

In line with the clubs’ Constitution and the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, the club is applying for a three month extension of time with Consumer Affairs Victoria. This will mean that the club will have until the end of December 2020 to conduct the AGM.

As a result Office Bearers who were up for nomination will remain in their position until the AGM is convened when the restrictions have de-escalated further. It is important to note that alternate online options have been explored, i.e. using Zoom or similar, however feedback from other clubs and groups who have gone down the path have been mixed. Should there be a further outbreak or escalation of restrictions this could be re-visited. We are currently exploring various options in how to present the annual honours and awards for 2019/2020 and will provide further details soon.
