Club activities All activities as advised previously except patrol should cease. Club meetings All club meetings must now be held via phone or video conferencing. Volunteer training All face to face training should cease. Lifesaving patrols 2020 Lifesaving patrols to continue for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, without flags and under certain conditions. Lifesaver 30 (LSV’s helicopter) will still patrol as normal as will all Marine Search and Rescue (MSAR). LSV is defined as a support agency under the Emergency Management Manual of Victoria. Patrols will however be adapted to ensure our members’ health and safety is our highest priority. Additional protective measures have been taken to reduce exposure whilst also meeting our responsibilities to provide water safety at the beaches across the state. Observational patrols – remain
2 persons maximum
No Covid 19 impacted members or members that are in a high risk category
All members on patrol to be aged between 18 – 55 years old
Bronze Medallion award
ART qualified
No red and yellow flags up
Where possible display messaging (white boards, swing signs)
Members to remain indoors where possible ( or in vehicles or patrol tower)
Always maintain safe distancing and hygiene practices
