Congratulations Mike Martin, SLSA Assessor of the Year

Each year Surf Life Saving Australia hosts a National Awards of Excellence to recognise the hard work, selflessness and enthusiasm of volunteers.

At this year’s awards, our own Mike Martin, AM was awarded Assessor of the Year. Congratulations Mike!

Mike is such a vital part of our Club, having held the role of head assessor with us for years and contributing to the Club in so many ways.

SLSA recognised Mike as being "instrumental in strengthening junior progression within assessing, mentoring younger members and creating pathways to support their life saving development". We couldn’t agree more or be prouder.
