Assessor of the Year - Michael (Mike) Martin AM

Congratulations to our very own Mike Martin for being named Volunteer Assessor of the Year at Life Saving Victoria's 15th Annual Award of Excellence.

Mike is the Club's head assessor and also assesses lifesaving awards across the Surf Coast region and the state. He is committed to the development of assessors and assessment processes within the club, introducing the Anglesea Assessors Group in 2017/18.

Mike has mentored and encouraged 25 young members in this area and aims to provide a clear pathway and opportunity for members not only in the Club, but also on a broader scale across the Surf Coast region.

We take this opportunity to thank Mike for all his hard work, often behind the scenes, and dedication to the Club.
