About Us
Since 1952, Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) has been an active member of the local Anglesea community, patrolling the beaches, providing sport and recreation, skill development and offering frontline first aid and emergency services.
Anglesea SLSC has close to 2,000 members, the largest amongst Victorian clubs and is at the forefront of lifesaving services, having established an innovative patrolling service, Anglesea Surf Rescue and many other initiatives such as the Starfish nipper program which is being implemented by many clubs around Australia. Each summer club members perform between 10 and 30 rescues and over 400 preventative actions.
About the Role
The Fundraising, Partnerships & Communication Officer role, reporting to the Vice President Operations, will coordinate all functions associated with fund raising, sponsorship, partnerships, grants and communications to benefit the Club and its activities. The key priorities of the role are to:
Attract new and retain existing club sponsors.
Identify and secure grant funding.
Attract and retain partnerships with community, business and government to benefit the Club.
External and internal communications planning and execution.
Promote the club and its activities to the community and relevant stakeholders.
Flexible working arrangements are available including work location and hours. However, the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings in Melbourne, Geelong or Anglesea. Including evenings and weekends as required.
The role is a 30 hour per week part time position. Salary: $62,400 - $70,200 plus super.
The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Working with Children and Police Check before any successful offer can be made.

Project Management experience
Account Management and relationship building experience (strongly preferred)
Experience in copywriting and proofreading within a Public Relations, Journalism or Communication role or similar.
